Two weeks ago, AceOn proudly joined global leaders and innovators at the ReBuild Ukraine Conference 2024 in Warsaw. This vital event brought together businesses, governments, and NGOs to collaborate on Ukraine’s energy resilience and reconstruction.
The conference began with a special UK-hosted energy breakfast, where key figures, including Sarah Jones MP, Minister for Industry, Roman Andarak, Deputy Minister for Energy for Ukraine, and Kenan Poleo, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, discussed the critical importance of sustainable energy solutions. The breakfast showcased the UK’s leadership in supporting Ukraine’s recovery, bringing together an impressive range of businesses committed to driving innovation in this sector.

AceOn at the UK Pavilion
During the conference, AceOn was proud to feature at the UK Pavilion, showcasing its innovative approach to energy storage. With over 30 years of experience in battery technology, AceOn is a leader in utilizing second-life EV batteries to replace fossil fuel generators, reducing CO2 emissions and providing power for off-grid applications.
Mark Thompson engaged with key stakeholders, including Anna Clunes, UK Ambassador to Poland, and Sarah Jones MP, to highlight AceOn’s solutions, such as the Portable Energy Storage (PES) systems and the eTRON 5MWh 20ft battery containers. These discussions also explored opportunities for AceOn to play a larger role in Ukraine’s energy transformation, including potential plans to establish manufacturing operations in Ukraine.
