We were delighted to welcome BBC Radio Shropshire to our Telford headquarters for the second time in just a matter of weeks.
Group managing director Mark Thompson – a self-confessed battery geek – gave presenter Ryan Kennedy a tour of our base and talked about our expertise in battery technology and energy storage.
Mark discussed our groundbreaking Ofgem-regulated Renewergy tariff, which provides clean, green energy, cuts bills for tenants and gives landlords and social housing providers a return on their investment.
He also talked about the innovative work we are doing to develop new battery technologies, the increasing importance of solar power and his early days setting up his first business at the age of 20 in his Dad’s garden shed.
Shropshire Goes Green, for which we are lead sponsor, was also mentioned in the interview, with everyone invited to the event on September 25. It will offer the perfect chance to learn more about sustainable living and solutions to climate change.
