AceOn is joining MCS at Futurebuild as the leading industry event returns on 1 – 3 March 2022 at ExCeL London.
We’re sharing a stand with MCS — the leading standards organisation for the UK domestic renewables sector — to show off some of our new innovations such as our AceOnPES portable solar energy unit.
We’ll also be giving a presentation about our pioneering work bringing a full turnkey solution for residential battery energy solutions to help to tackle fuel poverty and ease the cost of living pressures with the high rise in energy bills.
You can find us alongside MCS at the heart of the Future Installer area on stand A50.
This section is dedicated to the latest innovations, enabling visitors to interact with renewable technologies, meet leading manufacturers and installers, and gain invaluable insights from industry leaders.
We’ll be on hand with the MCS team to discuss the challenges of decarbonising heat, including how we need to upskill, retrain, and encourage a new generation of renewable installers to join the ever-growing industry.
Future Installers: MCS stand partners
Also joining MCS on stand A50 will be installers and manufacturers of MCS certified products to highlight the benefits of renewable energy technologies and showcase how they work.
Heating experts from Thermal Earth, Groundtherm and Matrix Energy Systems will be available to demonstrate working heat pumps and showcase the latest technology.
Meanwhile, both ourselves and our friends at Viridian will exhibit innovations in solar PV and battery storage technologies.
Biomass experts, Firepower, will also be joining MCS for the first time, to explain how even off-grid housing can still be sustainable with the use of a biomass boiler.
MCS will also be joined by long-term partner Solar Energy UK (SEUK), which offers affiliate membership to MCS certified installers. SEUK helps to provide those in the solar industry with valuable insights to expand and thrive.
Industry-leading insights and networking
MCS will be hosting panels, talks and on-stand events throughout the week.
On day one (1 March), Ian Rippin, CEO of MCS, is leading an expert industry panel: Will the government’s heating of domestic buildings strategies transform how we heat our homes?
He will be joined by Ian Mather, business development manager, British Gas; Chris Galpin, energy policy advisor, BEIS; Ian Cuthbert, senior policy advisor, Scottish Government; and Laura Bishop, chair of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association.
On day three (3 March), our Managing Director Mark Thompson will deliver a short presentation on the future of residential battery energy storage and how it can save finances, which starts at 3:30pm.
Join us for drinks on day one
MCS will be hosting a drinks reception on-stand to bring together the industry and share information on plans for a new low carbon heat technician apprenticeship. It will take place from 3:30pm until close on day one.
