CEO Mark Thompson received the Outstanding Engineering Innovation Winner 2025 award on behalf of AceOn Group, alongside maritime leaders and innovators from across the UK and international maritime ecosystem.

Maritime Innovation Week 2025 brought together hundreds of delegates for a week of practical innovation focused on transforming ports, shipping and supply chains.

AceOn contributed to discussions showcasing solutions that support cleaner and more efficient maritime operations, including:

  • Shore-side power solutions
  • Electrifying maritime infrastructure and vessels
  • Battery systems and clean energy integration
  • Innovation adoption across ports and maritime supply chains

A key theme throughout the event was collaboration across industry and government to build an Innovation Adoption Roadmap, accelerating deployment of scalable clean technologies across the maritime sector.

“Innovation is collaborative — working with partners is key to driving both clean growth and the UK economy. We are absolutely delighted to win this award at such an iconic landmark in London. Maritime Innovation Week was a fantastic opportunity to make new connections, share our shore-side power solutions, and highlight how electrification, battery technology and other clean systems can transform the maritime industry.”
