AceOn has been awarded Kickstart funding for three new roles, to help more young people in the area get back into work.
The Government’s Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.
In partnership with Telford College, AceOn has created three new roles and is now looking to recruit two Battery Electronics Assemblers and one Warehouse Operative.
The Battery Electronics Assemblers will join AceOn’s well-established battery assembly team, who manufacture complex and standard battery packs. The Battery Electronics Assembler position requires a hands-on person who is dexterous, a team player and able to follow assembly drawings to create battery packs of the highest quality.
The Warehouse Operative role is integral to the smooth running of AceOn’s manufacturing facility and involves issuing sales orders to the production teams and preparing customer orders ready for shipping. The successful applicant will receive accredited forklift training as part of their role too.
