AceOn Group, a leading innovator in renewable energy and battery storage solutions, has been praised by Foreign Secretary David Lammy for its significant role in supporting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure amid the ongoing crisis.
In a statement ahead of the International Energy Agency Summit, David Lammy highlighted the crucial work of the company:
“Fantastic British businesses like AceOn Group are at the heart of efforts to rebuild Ukraine in the face of relentless attacks from Russia. With Foreign Office support, these companies are helping to keep the lights on across the country and provide clean, sustainable energy in the years to come – and driving growth at home in line with our Plan for Change.”
AceOn Group has played a central role in deploying portable energy storage units using repurposed “second life” electric vehicle batteries. These systems are designed to deliver reliable power solutions to communities across Ukraine, ensuring continued access to energy in the face of infrastructure challenges.
This project is part of the InnovateUkraine initiative, backed by the UK Foreign Office, which empowers British companies to lead in developing practical, innovative energy solutions for international humanitarian and redevelopment efforts.
With 28 staff working from its Shropshire headquarters and an additional office in Solihull, AceOn is proud to contribute to global energy resilience while expanding its local economic footprint. Further growth and innovation are on the horizon as the company continues to pioneer sustainable energy solutions.
