What installers and buyers ask most about switching a 12V system to sodium-ion.
Is the NA12100 a drop-in replacement for lead-acid or lithium?
Yes — it's a 12V drop-in block sized for solar, backup, telecom and leisure systems. Because sodium-ion is slightly larger for the same capacity, we'll confirm the fit for your space, load and charging setup before you order.
Can I use my existing charger and inverter?
The NA12100 works with standard 12V systems, but it should be charged with a sodium-ion-appropriate charge profile (15.8V cut-off). Many modern chargers and inverter-chargers can be set to suit — tell us your equipment and we'll confirm compatibility.
How well does it perform in the cold?
Exceptionally. It discharges down to −30°C and supports low-temperature charging to −10°C, so it keeps working through winter where lithium systems stop charging and lead-acid capacity collapses.
How long will it last?
The NA12100 delivers 2,000+ full charge cycles while retaining at least 70% capacity. For typical solar, backup and off-grid duty cycles, that's many years of dependable, maintenance-free service.
Is it safe to store and transport?
Sodium-ion has a much lower thermal-runaway risk than lithium and passes abuse testing with no fire or explosion. For storage over 30 days, set it to around 60% charge — and never let it sit fully depleted.
